About EMA - Entrepreneurial Mothers Association
 EMA is a non profit organization that
was started in 1986 by Kathy Stephens, owner of Over the Top Lifestyles
(www.overthetoplifestyles.com)
and author of 52 Fascinating Females (www.52fascinatingfemales.com).
Her goal was to bring self-employed mothers together to encourage and
guide each other. There are currently three chapters in the State of
Arizona with chapters starting up nationwide.
Our members represent all the stages of a woman's life-married, single,
divorced, and widowed. They have come into motherhood through birth,
adoption, and step parenting and own a variety of businesses.
Many of us are home
based sole proprietors while others do business from storefronts with
multiple employees and our businesses are as diverse as the women who
own them. Because we believe cooperation is more important than
competition, our support of one another goes beyond the purely
professional level to the much deeper personal connection found among
friends.
We look forward to
getting to know you better. Guests are always welcome to attend two
meetings, so if you decide not to join us today, please do come visit

EMA is governed by a
Board of Directors who hold a two year term.
